i used to like Just dance . it was a great first single but you can't even compare it to bad romance.

Oh yes. Why else did it take Gaga so long to break in the US..... because they didnt want to play Just Dance... it was far from anything generic played on the radio.

I think Starstruck was fine as well. Telephone...well , Beyonce appearing on the song makes up for it s generic sound I guess

I prefer Bad Romance too, but just because it's better it doesn't mean I'm going to dislike Just Dance. JD was an amazing song. I'll always love it.

I won't say that Telephone is generic in the sense that it sounds like something Ke$ha or any other pop artist would do, but it did have a more generic sound than other songs on the album like Dance In The Dark. Still, Telephone is undoubtedly a great pop record - as all of her singles have been.
