I can't wait to hear it. There's so much competition right now but I think GaGa will be OK. I haven't been impressed with BEP, and the response to P!nk and Ke$ha hasn't been great. Hopefully radio will be very eager to play her and she'll reclaim her record for most spins on Pop radio. I think she can break the spincrease record too.

I think the worst reaction would be indifference. Whether love or hate, it's both publicity, garners attention and raises the curiosity of potential new fans.

Alejandro fell outside of the top 20 on the UK airplay chart this week. It's finally starting to decline, they'll be eager for the next single. That's why they were so reluctant to let go of Alejandro.

i don't think uk is her problem

i think she is going to have " bigger problems" in Usa.

katy perry , kesha taylor swift and bep are bigger than her in Usa and Alejandro was her first single to miss the #1 on pop. Not to mention that the Uk press love talking about Gaga ( just look at the marriage rumors) while the Usa press isn't as interested

i'm not so sure about fans loving it. we are fans because we love her music now, we love tfm and tf era. but i guess she's gonna go in the whole different direction now. i mean i believe i'm gon like it but i'm sure some "stans" will stop being stans cause of the change in her music.

I think so too. It seems very likely that Gaga is going to go into a more Rock-oriented direction, and that might turn off some of the more casual, 'mainstream' listeners. Albeit it wouldn't affect most of the core fanbase, I figure - the question is just how big that base is.

Katy Perry and Ke$ha are not more popular than Lady GaGa in the US. GaGa has sold more albums then they have combined. BEP are very popular, but only since 2009. They never had any #1s before that, and I don't think their new song is as good as BBP or IGF. I think it will do well but it's not going to dominate for weeks like their biggest hits.

Gaga sells in the US more than Katy Perry,more than BEP and more than Kesha....
Alejandro is mid-tempo and there was some big competitions then....
Gaga will be fine in the US
