It's to get her an urban hit before LOUD comes out. OG has no urban appeal, this fills that position instead.
However, WMN happens to have a lot of pop appeal as well.

^I still think they should wait to send the song out. At least to pop.

"WMN" clearly isn't hurting "OG", so I don't think it's such a bad thing.

*ignores all the BS in this thread*
10 = NEON TREES Animal 6148 +82 402 +26 34.639 +0.720 14
Still gaining.
P.S. Mariah's still the queen of radio until somebody beats WBT's AI record.

Well you have to remember that the panel has shrunk significantly since WBT peaked, so it is going to be nearly impossible for any song to do that unless the panel gains again.

WBT has the biggest overall AI ever. Isn't it like 200 million?

Why have audience impressions declined so much in the US?

I'm surprised "My Boo"'s AI was so high. I remember it being big, but not that big compared to those other songs.

The radio panel has shrunk, so impressions aren't reaching those heights anymore.

Every one of those songs is an R&B crossover by a black artist.
Urban support helps alot!

Just that radio stations that used to contribute their data don't do that anymore. I don't know if it is exactly due to maybe fees associated with it, or maybe they just didn't want to manage that many stations. I kinda wish the panel was bigger. It would make things more interesting.

Of course it does, but the song has to have crossover appeal to ever reach those peaks.

I don't think Urban picks up songs at the same rate as Pop or vice versa.
