Rihanna's new song isn't purely pop, so it's going to cross over is more formats than "Firework" will. That will not make "Firework" any less of a hit, though.

1.) You should tell your fellow Katy Perry stans the exact same thing. Why are you stating how Teenage Dream AI is smashing Only Girl when only girl was released 2 months after Katy.
Just proves my point then. At the end of the day, it's about sales and airplay. LTWYL sold another 300k worldwide last week and is shaping up to be the biggest hit of Rihanna and Em's career. #1 in over 28 countries is HUGE.
2) Thats a matter of opinion , but Only Girl will sell more internationally #1 in 8 countries and counting, top 2 in over 12 countries on itunes plus more. The U.S. is a toss up. But im 99% certain OG will sell more. But not more than CG.
3.) Coming off the heels of a HUGE SMASH that was CG that sold over 300k consistently , yes it did underperform. It still is a hit , I personally love the song but it underperformed according to her last hit.

5.) LG pop songs have done over 110-120 MIllion AI . Just because its purely pop, doesnt mean its not going to be huge.
