Haha me too, I really don't like pop nowadays for the fact all they care about is making money off their performers. Maybe I am just delusional because I'm a harcore Gaga stan, but her music is just for some reason different to me than all the other mainstream crap out there.

I want to give her the benefit of the doubt when she makes such claims about songs like Telephone. I mean, you can't always properly express concepts in pop songs because your vocabulary is restricted to words that are recognizable by the public, rhyme easily with those recognizable words, and are catchy.

I've had this argument with the dumb Gaga fans on GGD numerous times. When I post to vote for her or request or whatever, they always scoff at me like Gaga doesn't need it.

And I always bring in examples like Jewel - girls who were talented and massive...and they never know who I'm talking about, which only serves to further prove my point.

I love Jewel, "You Were Meant For Me" and "Foolish Games" are great songs. Her music was EVERYWHERE a decade or so ago, at least in the U.S.

She's made an even bigger impact in the UK than she has in the US, if she flops in the US then I still think she'll have a career in the UK, sort of like Madonna now.

I honestly think GaGa is going to go from strength to strength, she will flop eventually but I don't think it's going to be any time soon.

Well, I might be the only one who finds Kesha extremely ugly. Gaga isn't the hottest singer nor the ugliest. In my opinion Gaga > Kesha.
