Is it so bad of me to remain unimpressed by Paula Abdul's dancing skills? Of course, rightfully proportionate of what most people make her out to be.

Sorry for the random Janet, it's the only recording of Paula's performance I can find on YouTube. Back in the day, she sure could give JJ a run for her money; makes sense, seeing as she was her choreographer during most of Control.
Janet has better rhythm in this vid, but Paula is lighter on her feet; she looks like she's having more fun.

Ok, is that her best? :-/ Sure she's a good dancer and a pro at that but people are making it like as if she's the best that ever graced the Earth and I can't see that. The video you recommended didn't do me as much and I think Janet could execute those moves with an accurate precision (not certain on the tap dancing segment) and a graceful masculinity if the choreography requires.
Paula keeps it feminine as always but it's getting distinct. Have she ever tried dancing Janet-esque routines even just for once though?

I miss Pon De Replay Rihanna. Where her whole body was involved in her dancing.
