Huh? Is anything entering that impossibly thick European skull of yours? Beyonce didn't own Janet Jackson in these 7 years. She hasn't had the sort of impact that Janet has had and the only reason you don't feel the same way is because you weren't around when Janet was big. She isn't a has-been, she is still relevant. If she wasn't relevant, would her latest studio album debut at #1? If she was irrelevant, she'd be having a debut at #9 or #10 like Brandy and Toni Braxton.
Do you have a crystal ball? You know what's going to happen in the future? Nobody expected Janet's star to fade, but it did.
At the end of the day, you didn't understand the point of this thread. You are exactly what I hate about Beyonce stans and why I'm proud to associate myself with the likes of intelligent Janet stans like Eli, Yadiya, Captain Planet, Nelly & Kerihiil. I'm just representing Beyoncé, and I just can't with the fact you act like Janet is a ****ing legend. Janet is a NOTHING anymore, if she's truly that ''all'' you're claiming she would've remained begin relevant. Most of her fans are over 60 years old now. Call me back when Beyoncé's not relevant anymore.

Well why don't we just let Beyonces achievements speak for themselves, Billboards female artist of the decade, namned the most successful music artist of the decade by the RIAA with 64 certifications plus she was also the youngest person on VH1's greatest artist of all time list (voted on by her industry peers).
Talented, successful and well respected 
However I would never try to diminish Janet cuz she has had a great career with some really good songs. Janet will be remembered for a long time and so will Beyonce.

Beyonce stans need to stop acting like she is already comparable to Madonna or Michael Jackson. She has had 3 ALBUMS. Only 3! Her music is nothing more spectacular than you're average safe hit. The only thing that is keeping her successful is her talent, which is obviously a good thing, but it's not like she is breaking down barriers and making a big cultural impact like Michael or Madonna did.
And the only reason why she has so much "recognition" from Billboard and other things is because they all kiss her ass.

I'm not denying her sales or whatever. Sales don't make an ARTIST. The fact that Crazy In Love is considered one of the best songs on whatever Rolling Stone list it was, is seriously the biggest joke ever. It's not even that good, and it is generic. Nothing special. Rhythm Nation anyone? Definitely more iconic and impacting than any of Beyonce's songs.

No, it's not a damn fact. It's a damn lie. Janet is the only other Jackson who achieved worldwide success and acclaim and won multiple awards. You cannot say the same for LaToya, Randy, Jermaine, Rebbie or any of those other Jacksons. Yes, Janet is apart of one of the most iconic families ever, but Janet worked just as hard for her acclaim and success as Beyonce, GaGa or any other of the pop stars getting success today.
