I don't think there is too much hype surrounding GaGa. It's not really going to kick off until we get the first single, then people are really go to start getting excited for the album. Hype is something that can built overnight. There's not much hype surrounding Britney's next album right now, but hypothetically if she announced tomorrow that she would be releasing in December it would build up instantly. Christina was gone for years and as soon as she announced the release date of Bionic she got a lot of exposure, she didn't live up to it, hopefully GaGa will.

She needs to release it next month. People don't want to wait any longer and it's stupid to delay it to try and suppress the hype because that's not going to happen. Hype is building now, it's best not to keep people waiting too long or else it will die down slightly.
The new single will probably break records.

Even if she releases during that two month break, when will she promote 2nd/3rd/4th singles? She'll be touring into June. I'm sure they will all go top 5 on Billboard but I want some more number 1's.

I think the Telephone video is amazing and owns every video released this year tho idk if any of her videos will ever top Bad Romance.

She does only have concerts at night, am I right? Why couldn't she promote the album while in a city during the day?
