Yeah I remember it doing really well. Lick Me and Sunrise were the summer anthems of 2009. Lick Me was a lot bigger but Sunrise was still very successful.

I'm really curious to know how Ayu felt in 2005 when Koda started to explode and overshadow her. I mean this isnt shade at all but from 2002-2005 Ayu took the lead from Utada and became the top bitch of the J-Pop Industry. Then all of a sudden Koda explodes takes her spotlight and cuts her sales in half.
Not sure if you heard this but apparently rumor has it that in 2007 Ayu got signed for some major underwear ad in order to increase her popularity. In 2007 Koda was at her prime holding the #1 album of the year so I can understand why Ayu would feel she needed to up her sex appeal. Then for some reason or another Koda ended up getting the endorsement instead and Ayu was EXTREMELY pissed. And from then on Ayu secretly hates Koda. The end. lol.
