So if people attempt to drag Britney in SYG of course I will defend and stan for her but I keep it in SYG (or the thread it's happening in).

I kinda get what you are saying when you say you don't understand the difference between "estas" and "ser" but I don't know how to explain in English since "estas" and "ser" = be .
however, people use "estas" when like, the person looks pretty in that specific moment "tu estas guapo (you look pretty)" but when someone IS pretty you use the verb "ser" "tu eres guapo (you are pretty)"

I'm in Spanish 3 and it's basically just memorization. Learning future tense this year.
