Since Glee doesn't have its American Idol lead-in so there is a good chance we might have one of the best pre-Idol ratings.

Glee’s 5.8 adults 18-49 rating was up 4% from last week to a series high.

13.3 - "Britney/Brittany" (Britney Spears episode, NO AMERICAN IDOL LEAD IN)
12.28 - "Audition" (Glee S2 Opener, NO AMERICAN IDOL LEAD IN)
11.5 - "Theatricality" (GaGa/Kiss episode w/ American Idol lead-in).

The Queen's name carried the show to it's best ratings without the help of the biggest show leading it in.
