Well since 2003, she is. American Life bombed, then came The Kiss () then "Me Against The Music". Since then, "Hung Up", "Sorry", and the Confessions album really put Madonna back on the map after the bump she had in 2003. Then "4 Minutes" / Hard Candy was really huge. It's similar to how Britney bounced back after her drama and Blackout, I'd say she's even bigger now. Everyone loves her again, sans the no-good haters, and she's getting hits back to back. Album sales might not be there like before, but we don't need another discussion about sales decline.




On some things said. Ying Yang Twins again? No. "Boom Boom" is excellent, they are great on it. Why? Because they were IT in 2003. Leave them there. Madonna again would be AMAZING. The Neptunes, "Slave" is brilliant, and "Why Should I Be Sad?" is so hot, love Gangsta Brit. If they did another uptempo record, I'd love it. Just a few songs though.



And FINALLY. Love the new clip. I love the new "MATM" routine. So HOT!

ADD: Brittany's hair whip is FIERCE. Making a GIF once the episode is HDTV-*******. And it's no surprise how corny the lines are. Britney's cameos are usually hilariously corny. So excited, can't believe its TOMORROW.

I honestly thought Madonna last two albums were a pile of horse **** and lost a lot of respect for her.
But people have different opinions.

Ying Yang twins complimented Britney so well.
And NERD and Britney make fire when it comes to production.

If we were talking about whether we liked the last two eras, then yes there would be something to have opinions on. But, since the subject is about if she is bigger now than in 2003, that is a fact since Confessions & Hard Candy were worldwide successes, and "Hung Up" & "4 Minutes" are two very notable hits for her. We can throw in the success of her last Greatest Hits as well.

And I agree with you, those albums suck hard - 'Confessions' is just plain disguting.

But like Rico's been saying, we can't deny both her last eras were huge success for her, especially worldwide. Truth is, Madonna know how and when she has to 'adapt', that's why she's still so sucessful after two decades.

I will never understand why most of you people worship 'Boom Boom' so much. It's a good track, but it's not even standout on 'In The Zone'. Right, it would have given her urban support, but that's it. I hope they never work with Britney again, cause to me that collab is one of those cases of 'one in a million'.

I don't see Pharrell being able to produce another masterpiece track for Britney - I love 'Why Should I Be Sad' but it's in no way as groundbreaking as 'Slave' and his last productions overall are weak - so he should at most get a shot at working in a bonus track.

I don't understand you. Her peak may have been in early 90s but since then people have started to respect her as an artist, as a person as a human overall. Madonna has done some good music after that and she has proofed that she can fit in any era she wants, right now we are in a Pop/Electronic era so she gave us hard Candy that is possible one of the worst works but stills fitting in the industry. Madonna is smart, and Britney may have had her peak already but she will always get bigger and bigger with people considering Britney as a legend since she ahs done a LOT so far. Britney pratically open the doors for those new Pop acts and that's what Madonna did back then. So yes they are both legends, Pop Legends, Music Legends that will NEVER be forgotten.
