And it coincides with Glee which makes sense to release a single now.

Well releasing the single (to digital sales) the same day as the Glee episode airs having not released to radio before is just plain stupid... Perhaps debuting it at Glee, sending to radio and holding up sales would do a good job... but...

I believe it's not new-music related...
