I'm in Michigan, we use the ACT too.
I don't have plans on taking SAT.. And I have no idea what those scores mean.

well the SATs are out of 2400. But you have to be like extremely smart to get near that. Aren't the ACTs out of....36?
Really the only thing I can see myself doing is going to a community college then going to a university.
I got accepted to post university,Bridgeport,etc but I didn't feel like leaving NYC.
I was a honor roll student in high school but my SAT scores are horrible so it left me with little options.
So I think when I start college in jan I'll go with a community college,so I can use that time to get better with the SATS and have a better chance into getting into a good school in ny.

At least you have a lot of time to get your grades up
There are a lot of great colleges in NY like SUNY, Clarkson, etc. Why is it that you don't want to leave the state if you dont mind me asking.
