Whether it's the actual image or a link name it's still on ATRL, even if we have to click in order to see the actual image in another tab. If we can't go all out we might as well not even bother. There's no sense in placing restrictions in certain threads when there's all kinds of foolishness going on in other threads which nobody seems to care about.
You don't have to every worry about me posting any remotely close to NSFW anymore.

You're looking at it from a standpoint of what's
right and
wrong, which isn't really the point. If you don't like a certain policy, it's easy to be like "well, X is worse, isn't it?" You're deflecting. It's not relevant to this discussion.
It's obviously
wrong for people to be racist in NHB, but offensive/hateful speech is part of NHB. If they're being hateful or offensive anywhere else on the site, they can be reported and warned for it. End of story.
Now, I'm concerned with what's legal and not legal. We invite people under 18 to join our site. It is my understanding that we are in the clear from a legal standpoint only if we do not hotlink (embed) any NSFW images on our site. There
is a difference. If there are clear warnings posted and NSFW images are clearly linked to
another web site, not embedded on our site, and never appear to be part of one of ATRL's pages, I think we're good.
It's not hypocritical at all. We are allowing you as much freedom as we can give you while barely protecting ourselves as much as we have to. It's silly to change the topic or read anything else into it.
