"Ride" didn't create it's own hype and become visible by 13 million people?

The thing is, is doesn't really matter if Trey Songz is a 3x platinum artist or not or whether Nicki Minaj is even stable. The point is that Ciara is not touching either of them right now because she lacks the overall visibility, hype and radio presence that they do which is what has helped them thrive.

She needs the pre-tour for 1st week sales more that TV promo.

She did the TV promo for "Fantasy Ride". EVEN if it was too late for FR's 1st week sales, the sales following werent as hoped either.

Ciara has to start from ground up. Which means:

Urban, then Pop, then Worldwide.

That applies with the album sales. Which means:
Tour for 1st week sales.
And the rest will follow.

Let's get one thing straight: nobody is disagreeing with THIS. The POINT is when you're a new artist you have too work way harder. I never said Ciara was bigger than Trey Songz or Nicki Minaj right now, I don't think anybody did.

What I don't agree with is you saying a tour wouldn't be enough for Ciara, when in fact it would be what she needs. The "Ride It" Tour would have been a perfect campaign for a pre-tour, with the buzz/infatuation around the video and the song exploding in the Urban Market and doing better than every "Fantasy Ride" single at radio. It's all about capturing a fanbase and unlike Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz, Ciara is re-capturing.

if she only tours + does no promotion @ all her sales will be HORRIBLE

u dont get that for ciara to even have a successful tour she has to be more visible + in the public eye for the ticket sales

yea....

+ they shouldnt release the album in nov if they dont have a hit single either......im just hoping when they send it for adds or release teh videos it will have enough time to blow up by november 2 which is only 6 weeks away
