But I am conflicted. I love my life, and I'm very fortunate, but I feel like I don't do enough. I'm not talking about volunteer work/helping others, I'm just talking about contributing to society. I'm feeling that, 'I'm 18, I should have accomplished more by now' feeling. I should have taken advantage of the decent brain that I have.

A really awesome girl who I want to become BFFs with. One of my actual BFFs (they're identical twin guys) asked her to homecoming and he's going to ask her out at some point. Even before I came out to her, she'd been discussing it with me, how she didn't want to be just another girl "along the line" of his prospective lady friends.

I always thought their was a different mood/aura about a person after they turned 18 guess not.

You take photos right ? If so why not start looking for art galleries to display them.
I know it might seem weird but you contributing your form of art would probably give you that feeling you desire.
I'm currently (lining up/trying to get) internships because I have that exact feeling where I need to accomplish something now instead of just waiting for it to happen.
