Oh well, at least she made it to #1 (though I'm not too enthused about her falling to #5!)
Now, maybe people will disagree with me here, but in light of the UMG fiasco and just the overall runs videos have gone through in the VH1 Top 20 lately, I kinda think they should just do away with the viewer voting and bring the countdown back to its old format. That way they can put in whatever videos they want and it will still reflect some degree of viewer participation (via a message board or Facebook posts/Tweets). Plus, the countdown is not as crazy as it used to be: Big leaps have become fairly uncommon and more 'standard' runs seem to be the order of the day. And with VH1 keeping tighter control of which videos are on the countdown through its playlist... I don't know. It just occurred to me. What do you guys think???
