Not at all. I just don't think this situation will be beneficial to Cher.

Is that good or bad?
I think it's quite nice for her first movie, right?

It will do 70-90 in US
Burlesque will probably be very successful especially if the soundtrack is awesome!

I'd say 50-60M for this kind of movie is good.
And yeah it could do more, look at Mamma Mia. Over 600M ww...though that was a rare exception. But people do love musicals.

Yeah Mamma Mia was a rare exception I didn't see it, but damn, during that time, I was hearing ABBA's songs EVERYWHERE. I hated it
As long as the movie is nice and the musical numbers are great (which from what we know so far, they are), Burlesque will have everything to be a sucess.
I hope you don't wish Burlesque to flop like you did with Bionic

Mamma Mia had so much going for it - Meryl post-Prada love, huge hit play with built-in audience, ABBA, very bright, happy Summer feel, etc.
Did I wish for Bionic to flop?

Yea, the budget is unknown but im thinking 30-40 million. So 50-60 millino US is actually preety good but internationally It will do better. Definite 120,000,000 plus world wide. Would be great for Xtina espeicially since it's her first movie. She just starting out! Anything like that would be a major sucess for her. But most importantly I want Burlesque to re-introduce Xtina back to the world, so they could remember what type of singer she really is. She should not try and compete with Gaga and her massive storm. She should just bring her B2B sound back but intensify it more and make it current and commercial or maybe she should go back to Stripped and do the same. Make it more current, hardhitting and commercial. Christina will have commercial success again even if she is being overshadowed by the killer gaga. I must admit myself, Gaga reigned over every artist in 2009-2010 even Britney, Beyonce, Christina, and Rihanna. That's why rihanna is releasing a new album so quick. She has to get her hype back. Gaga is a ****ing monster, but these other girls have already carved their name into the world of music. Everyone has their time. I love it!

Well, you did like to see the album flopping like a trout out of water or something like that
But I'm sorry, I shoudn't had brought that up. Hoping you're more positive about her. The more positivity, the better

Probably not, but you were definently shading our Queen. Bionic is not a flop, a flop is an album that doesnt even make the charts. Bionic was a major underperforming album based on sales and media. But the songs were great especially "All I Need" I know it's slow but that song is so beautiful to me! She needs to release classics like "All I need" for AC and mature audiences. More uptempo ballads for pop. She needs to leave the pop star image alone.

That was more in response to Brockboy's endless calling of everyone else in every thread a "lessor."
