She could very well be performing at the pre-show. It would only make sense since Nicki is the only confirmed performer for the pre-show.

Well we haven't gotten any performances at the pre-show since 2007, and Nicole Scherzinger was the only performer then. Typically, when the pre-show is only one hour they have one performance. It was only two or more performance for 1.5- or 2-hour-long pre-shows, so they probably aren't putting anyone else with Nicki there.

Also, they're planning other stuff for the pre-show, like premiering a bonus deleted scene for Jersey Shore, some documentary trailer, etc. It's all here: http://mtvpress.com/2010VMA/release/...wards_preshow/

No, I mean that I don't think anyone else is performing at the pre-show aside from Nicki MInaj. There just isn't enough time for TWO performances in a 60-minute pre-show, especially when they also want to do red-carpet interviews, trailer premieres, bonus scenes from Jersey Shore, etc. That basically means Ciara is set for the main show, which makes it all the more puzzling to me...

Unless, of course, they only air partial performances during the pre-show instead of full ones, but I doubt it given how much they're hyping Nicki.
