Sometimes I'm a great listener. Sometimes not.

There's always: the druggie, the internally-struggling gay, the popularity-hungry. But I understand. The focus on Riley being gay is more intense & one-dimensional than the other characters and their problems but in the same breath other shows that have gay characters only brush over the problems. There's only so many shows out there were the focus is on being gay. The ones where they gay guy is ~just like everybody else~ they tend to just brush over stuff & treat him as a side-character instead of further exploring the aspects of gay relationships like Degrassi.

I definitely wasn't expecting a paragraph from you. I feel special.
I see what you're saying. It's nice that they focus on that then. I don't even watch Degrassi. Which is funny. You see, Beatfreak PM'd me to be a judge for his new game, and I had to answer a set of questions; one of the questions was about what makes me different and what I add to the panel. I talked a bit about how I can talk out my ass and sound like I know exactly what I'm saying when I really don't. It's true in real life too.
