I'm a little appalled at the people saying Katy's numbers are good. They are horrible. She should've pulled 250k-300k. Yes, she's a pop artist, but she also had the biggest song of the Summer with a follow-up that's already blown in the short time before the album came out. The numbers are bad, and we'll see how it ends up. I hope it can keep selling, but at this point I don't know if it'll be too strong. 192k isn't a big opening, so we can't expect it to drop down and stabilize so quickly.

Are you smoking crack right now?! Maybe Katy underperformed to your expectation, but to say that sales of almost 200k are "horrible" is ridiculous. If TD had opened at the same level as "One of the One Boys," that would have been pathetic. But her debut week was four times bigger than the last time around! That's amazing improvement. And with the continued performance of her hit singles, she will have another album with impressive longevity on her hands.
