They did not release the title of the first single until the day before it was released but, they announced a single would be released a week in advance. They also had the build up on RihannaNow using The Wait Is Ova as the theme music and photos from the video shoot about 2 weeks before Russian Roulette was released. Now all we have are random unofficial sites and twitter chatter. I guess it's possible they could release it without an official announcement but, this smells like someone's marketing department working overtime on the net to create hype.
It does not make much sense to have one lead single in the US and another lead single in Europe. I can understand it if it were a second or third single being marketed to US and international audience, but a LEAD single?
