I hate how the trolls call the TFM the beginning of her floppness (yes not a word) because she hasn't gotten a no.1 on it. I like every song on TFM, but I couldn't say that for TF

I agree, some of the songs on The Fame are not good at all IMO. It has "filler" tracks, and that is not the case with TFM. I like all 8 tracks, Bad Romance being my favourite.

She sold so many more albums as a result of TFM.

The majority of her sales have been since she re-released. Her next album definitely won't sell as many copies unless it's also going to be re-released, but even if it is it's not realistic to expect her to rival the extraordinary sales she has had thus far. Hopefully she'll be able to reach new heights with her singles, they are the future. Albums are becoming irrelevant.

I definitely expect her singles to do extremely well. Especially her lead single, that is sure to do well in the UK. I just can't @ her success in the US, even though she has 2 no.1's, PF was no.1 for only a week, then BBP took over. BR didn't even get to no.1, nor did Telephone. And she still hasn't got a no.1 album yet, which totally shocks me since her debut sold 3.6 m copies

I don't either - it's my least favorite song on TF.

But I think that bodes well for her next album - the fact that the re-release sold so much more than the TF, meaning her selling power increased, and perhaps it has increased even more since the re-release...idk if that makes sense or if we've got another sushi & sex situation on our hands.

Are you saying that her accomplishments in the US have disappointed you? I'm really happy with how everything has turned out. I never expected Lady Gaga to become as popular as she has become in the US. When I first heard Just Dance I hoped it would do really well but it never seemed like it it would become a hit because it took so long to climb towards the top, which makes the number 1 peak all the more remarkable. I know she hasn't had a #1 album, but that's down to bad look more so than anything else. She sold far more than the vast majority of #1 albums do, and her next album is all but guaranteed to a #1 with huge sales. BR did go to #1 on iTunes, I think it would have topped the Hot 100 if they had delayed its release a week or two. I knew at the time it was a bad idea to release it so early, I was surprised they got away with it in the UK - it peaked at number 1 here, but I thought it would manage a #1 peak in the US. I never thought Tik Tok would become the smash that it was.

It well definitely sell more within a short period of time - it's going to start off with huge sales, but it's not going to have the same longevity that TFM has had. We certainly can't expect that. I guess it's possible for it to sell more, her fanbase is stronger now than it ever was so hopefully she will take advantage of that, and continue to appeal to new people.

Tik Tok is sooo good, it had smash written all over it.
Bad Romance sounded like a flop to me, but we've discussed that already...

I'm not saying I'm dissapointed, because I am very happy for her success, but I just think that her great songs should have done better than it already has. And when I first heard JD, I never knew it would become a no.1 smash for 3 weeks, so I'm happy for that. I just think that she should have had a no.1 album, and if TFM deluxe sales counted for TFM instead of TF. then she definitely would have had a no.1. And for BR, I blame ESOM for that. I think the last week ESOM was no.1, Gaga was like 2 points behind. Then TT came, which I never would have thought would have smashed like that. In the UK, she is loved, so I'm not very surprised there

I like Tik Tok too, I just thought that GaGa would have been able to hold her off because she was the more established artist at the time. BR was a much bigger hit in the UK than Tik Tok.
I loved BR straight away.

Oh my...flop! I must admit, when I first heard it on the radio, it sounded like a bunch of bull and I couldn't bear to listen to the rest of it. But after the video, it quickly became my second favorite song on the album, my favorite is Teeth
