People were more satisfied with a dirty xtina than a sexy britney

The singles from "Britney" all flopped in the US because Britney was blacklisted on the US radio, excluding "Slave" which underperformed.

"Slave" was a worldwide top 5, "Overprotected" and "I'm Not A Girl" were top 10 worldwide and "Boys" was a top 20 hit. "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" flopped in most countries though.

And "Dirty" was a flop in the US and was did quite poorly worldwide. "Slave" was a bigger hit US and worldwide.

I loved Christina's tribute to the rain scene in "Overprotected" though.

About Oops I Did It Again not being #1 in the USA, Jive is the only one to blame for that. They didn't release the physical single in the US.

Oops I Did It Again had the same airplay of Baby One More Time. Both songs were #1 on Pop Radio and #8 on overall airplay. The difference was that Baby One More Time had physical CD single and Oops didn't.

So many singles could have been #1's if they would have done that.
