Britney can have 35498798025068867 more #1s but Toxic, Oops and Slave will never be "made up" for them...
Because of that stupid blacklisting Clear Chanel put Britney on. Practically banned Britney music from being spun on several Pop stations around the US. She didn't stand a chance singles-wise during the Britney era.
Okay, after taking your comments into consideration I came up with the perfect VMA performance.
So Britney comes on stage to perform her new single. She is disguised as an alias-- maybe Amy. She is wearing the black wig from "Toxic," and she also has the same make up on as she did when she wore the red wig in "Toxic" as well. The audience thinks this is a new artists with a new song and killer dance moves. Towards the middle of the song (or at the end of the song) the dancers slowly take off her disguise one by one to reveal Britney and the crowd is amazed.
Inspiration comes from when "Womanizer" came out. People had no idea it was by Britney at first.
Much better than your previous kiss - - idea, but there was no chance people wouldn't know it was Britney.
Not many people know this, but there was a point when the "...Baby One More Time" single was selling around 100,000 copies a week (which is AMAZING for a physical single in 1999). It hit #1 when it was in the 40s on the airplay chart which is why it stayed at #1 for only 2 weeks (its sales fell before the airplay caught up). If the release had been delayed it could've stayed at #1 for many more weeks.

OMG I would love to see that
I was only dreamed about a performance that she appeared completely covered from feet to her head and suddendly she started to be revealed and she makes an awesome performance
Maybe she will
Radar is prob gonna be on this album. Some form.
Or their gonna make an excuse that some other song was destined to be a hit and their gonna stick it in there somewhere.
