But Brit's team had already planned to release Circus on December 2nd

EDIT: Also Britney wouldn't be getting back into things by making these appearances at Premieres, Movies, and Concerts if it wasn't for nothing. We know how the eras have been. It's for a purpose. To prepare the Queen for her next slaying.
I think they are getting really close to the end....that's why they are starting to confirm it now...I expect a release date soon....I think gimmebritney's info is accurate
Britney Spears is making beautiful music again. The 28-year-old pop star showed up to the studio in Los Angeles today (August 12).
Britney was joined her dad Jamie Spears as she spent the afternoon laying down tracks on her highly-anticipated upcoming album.
Meanwhile, Next up for Britney? She’s set to play a receptionist in a special episode of Glee dedicated to her.
“Britney’s episode is based on fantasies. The kids get drugged at the dentist’s office and start having these dream fantasies,” says a source. “Britney will appear in the fantasies and play a receptionist in the dentist’s office. The producers are putting the final touches [to the] specifics as we speak.”
Britney played a receptionist when she made a guest appearance on TV comedy How I Met Your Mother two years ago.
