"Gimme More" was not announced. It premiered after a build-up of rumors & speculation and smashed radio's the second it premiered. If the single was a surprise and premiered randomly, EVERY major pop station would get their hands on it and spin it. Your logic..

EVERY single after Gimme More has had an announcement. EVERY single.

and Gimme More did not "smash" radio like Womanizer or Circus. I'm sure Jive has learned from previous mistakes.
