I wouldn't really call it the "Hip Hop" era. For real, the Midwest and South (in which I live) is not a representation of the glory days of Hip Hop. I think the Hip Hop era was intertwined with the rest of the movements of the 80s, 90s and some parts of 00s.

I miss these days a LOT. Ashanti's "Foolish", Usher's whole 8701 album, and R. Kelly's "Ignition" were the best.

I miss 90's music, the era when timeless ballads and memorable soundtracks flourished. I hate this era except country music.

I miss the days where every genre had the chance to shine, wether it was R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock etc... that's why the 90s were the best, when there is only one genre reigning is boring and that has been happening in the whole 2000 decade

Some of them are still making great music, while some strayed with time.
