That's not what I'm saying at all!
She became a legend because she did groundbreaking stuff... ya know, Control, RN1814, The Velvet Rope. Stunning and perfectly orchestrated choreography in music videos (at the same time as MJ). She let her sexy side out, but she maintained her willingness to help others throughout her career, and she is accepting of everyone. She marched to the beat of her own drum, both figuratively and literally; she doesn't have a reputation for pirating styles of music, fashion or performing (and that is not shade). It would take a long time for me to explain why Janet is a legend.
Britney just left an unprecedented mark on pop culture. She is pretty much a legend. Nobody is synonymous with "pop icon" quite like Britney Spears. She is a once-in-a-generation kind of girl.
