Maybe they won't be singles. Katy said "Firework" will definitely be a single later on. And if she's only having 4 singles from TD like she did for OOTB, maybe Peacock could be its last. But who knows, Gaga released "Alejandro" as a promo single too.

Exactly. In fact, it did wonders for all those people by building up interest for their album with more songs. It made the album sales bigger first week.

I'm pretty certain there will be more than 4 singles from this album. Katy said she wanted this album era to span two years. It all depends how successful it is saleswise though. She did offhandedly mention she wanted "Circle the Drain" to be a single.
