Someone should post the top 25 best-selling males and see how many replies it gets. lol
I can't believe Celine sold over 200 million records. It's just hard seeing a lot of these, but all of those artists are best-sellers, so who cares? lol
Well, people had no choice but to buy records in the 90s, so it's very plausible, lmso.
I just wish people would give us the facts about Celine Vs Madonna Vs Whitney Vs Mariah. A lot of people say Madonna has sold more albums than Celine, but I don't think that's true. She has sold more records though.
For the millionth time where is this 14 million singles you keep throwing around coming from? And where are your Spice receipts since they sold so much more?
If DC sold about 8.5 million singles in the USA alone I know they sold more than 14 million worldwide.
You're forgetting how small the singles market was then. "Oops!... I Did It Again" sold about 1.5 million outside the US and it was a bigger hit than anything DC3 ever released. There is no way any of their singles came anywhere near that outside the US.
But I think Mike is closing in on Elvis, but I'm not certain.
I would hope so I'm not a fan of Elvis , last time I head THE KING OF POP sold over 750 million records worldwide, I'm sure that total has went up since his sadly death
Streams count as sales? I've been doing it all wrong.
****, let me snatch that link you posted and throw them in my total. The bad thing is I think it only counts on sites like Yahoo you know since Billboard uses that for chart positions
Edit: No one ever talks about it though, so maybe they add it into that total on their yearly list in a very small amount. But a superstar is a superstar, you know what I mean?

Why are Yahoo, and I THINK AOL streams counted towards BB anyway?

Because it helps rank how popular a song is, before Youtube and their cheating methods with views things like such could really be trusted. Which is why Billboard doesn't use Youtube or lord help me Beiber would top the Hot 100 for 5 years consecutive.
