Because after a lot of time of doing the same, people get tired and also the quality goes down, if you don't believe me compare the success and quality of GGGB with RR

Rihanna never does the same, that is why she is able to reach platinum with every album every year and people, haters or stans, are always eager to see what she does next and quality goes down? For every music expert Rated R is her best album, much better then GGGB in everything, lyrics, attitude, style, visuals, sound... GGGB is awesome but it doesn't even compare to Rated R, people didn't get the dark image and that's it but it still managed to sell nearly 3 Million which many people would die to sell that with their album
Yeah and while Rehab was a great song the timing and video was horrible. Shoulda been released sooner instead of HTILY and BD should been second instead of SUAD. I really think Rehab is her worst video to date.
Umbrella was the song that first made me fall in love with Rihanna, Umbrella made me fall in love with music actually. I never really listened to music before then. once i heard breakin' dishes, it sealed the deal.
