That actually is a very smart decision. I'm happy with the way they manage her so far. You shouldn't say that because she hasn't had a flop since her debut in 2008. They only mistake they made was not releasing "Bad Romance" to Yahoo which would for sure make the song #1 on the Hot 100 *it needed like 2 points).

They shouldn't have released Alejandro as the final single.

Well the only thing I would change is that Monster should been the final single but seriously T.I. and GaGa a ****in smash waiting to happen and I will be one ****in pissed off lil monster if her record label holds this back from the world.
They erred in releasing "Alejandro" because both TF and TFM have stronger singles.
But like you said it went Top 5 so it's not like it was detrimental to her career. It's just that they were sitting on material with far greater potential.
