Girl you's in danger... TFM is the second studio album. Gaga has said so numerous times. EPs are albums that are less than 30 minutes. TFM is like 34. Madonna was making albums about as long as TFM back in the day and they weren't classed as EPs.

MJ's third album was two minutes shorter than TFM. It's not considered an EP...

I don't understand what these gerls don't understand. If Gaga said she was the first artist to go platinum they would believe it.

Well even if it is an EP (which I still don't think it is as it exceeds 30 minutes), it is at the same time her second studio album as it entirely features new studio content.
