Christina's "Bionic" may not have exsplosive sales like we expected but I GUARENTEE that this album will bring her lots of recognition and critical acclaim! It's not always about SALES. "Blackout" was Britney's most creative and distinctive ablum to date but yet sales for "Blackout" were not attractive but the material was awesome. Christina created magic for "Bionic." She outdid every female pop artists vocal wise. CHRISTINA IS NOT AFRAID TO TAKE RISKS! She's a real artist!

Bionic is a great album.

It was the first single choice that ruined it IMO.

It was just too out there for a lot of people. I love the album, there are about 3 songs that I really don't like but it is my favourite album from her to date. Her catchiest and her most diverse album yet.

- Blackout got generally favourable reviews (again, Metacritic).
- Bionic is an out right flop
- Blackout isn't (it just underperformed by her standards, but still sold well and yielded 2 US and International hits)
- Bionic didn't deliver the goods. Full stop.
- Also, I guess she is afraid of taking risks because her album went from originally being supposed to be electro-indie influenced to being full of Woohoo's, I Hate Boys, Not Myself Tonight, Desnudates, Sex For Breakfast, My Girls and a whole bunch of sappy ballads. The remotely experimental stuff was relegated to just being bonus tracks. Yup. She's not afraid to take risks alright.

This album is flopping, yes, but this isn't over yet. And you with your talk of taking risks... you certainly don't know what you're talking about (of course you don't...).She has take more risks in her career than your "fave" will ever take.

First, nobody (even Christina) said that this would be an electro-indie album... . Yeah, Christina said initially that she would start working with artists like Ladytron, Goldfrapp (she even scrapped them lol) and Sia. She started with these, but in the end, she worked with so MANY producers and collaborators that it was impossible to all of them be in the album. And the thing is, the album would probably be a bit different if she didn't have to go shoot the film. As you know (or most certainly don't), Polow da Don was a label "suggestion" and that truly says something to me. But in the end, she released everything she wanted to and we got to hear them. So I ain't mad at all.

This album has something for everyone and it's a really good mainstream pop album (your comment about sappy ballads clearly says that you don't know what good music is). But everybody is/was in a phase where it's just cool to hate Christina and wish her to do badly and that shows in the reviews (that some of them don't even make sense). And because of that, people didn't even give the album a chance. But I think now, people are starting to realise that this is truly a underrated album.

And one more thing why do you think we care about Blackout's sales? How is that relevant to this thread? And I still laugh my ass OFF when you Britney stans say that Blackout has received the most critical acclaim ever or was one of the best reviewed albums of that year or whatever, but then I go to metacritic and just see: 61. Yeah... LMAO

Since it's the best thing on Bionic, I can't see anything savin' her...If NMT flopped, nothing on this album will be huge.

This is not becouse I am a FAN, but NMT is for me (along with M.I.A. Born Free) is the best song of 2010! I mean you have no idea how much I love that song, I hade it 2 month on my mobile witch is just...not normal for me...lol...I don't know...I am sad it was a flop and I am even more sorry for album...I just hope YLM will do much better...And you can see Xtina is really a hard rock, she just don't care if half people don't like it...she keep's moving forward!
