This is what's wrong.. Miley though that the smartest move would be to prove people she's not the poppy happy person we see on Hannah Montana.. which is ******** because she actually IS happy and she actually DOES listen to pop music and she's not what she's trying to be right now. But that's a whole different subject.
The album is not done... not at all.. in fact even if she releases Liberty Walk or a single like that.. the album would STILL sell. Miley has her place in the music business, she has a huge fan-base.
Now, what she needs to do is just scratch all those songs that are Anti-Disney-Like and release a ballad, please i hope there is a bright mind in her team that wants to save her and not **** her up. If she does that.. oh god, she will be JUST fine.

I know the album isn't over, but it's so hard not to be SURPRISED. I loved Can't Be Tamed (the single) and when I saw the video she ****ing slayed me to death, I really can't believe this is underperfoming.
But like I said, if she flops, maybe she'll learn a lesson and comeback with better and NOT-SO-DIRTY material. She's just 17 and she should've waited to release at least 1 more album before starting to dress like that

You have to remember as much as Miley is this big star, with all the fame and success... she's still a teenager, she's still very immature.. so that's were all those comments of "I don't listen to pop music" and all this new image of trying to be grown up is coming from. I'm very afraid that she doesn't have the proper guidance behind her, people need to watch her back, because she really might take Britney's road if people don't back her up and keep her grounded.
Me, being the big Miley fan that i am, i know how she is, the bitch is stubborn as ****, you can see that on her interviews, live performance, and when she's doing all the talk-shows and stuff. The girl really needs someone to tame her, because you can tell she just wants to do what she wants to do.

Don't even bring Ashley's name up in this thread. I'm sorry, I love Miley but Ashley's music >> Miley's. Miley's voice hasn't even fully developed yet, I think it could get more beautiful but her live singing are horrid.
Quality >> Quantity for me, so Ashley >> Miley.
Quantity >> Quality? = Miley > Ashley.
And don't even start about Hillary.  She has paved away the careers for those Disney girls. They are nothing compared to HIlary.

I'm with you here. Album sales in general have seriously declined, people just download music. The real money and success is in radio play and tours, that's how to gauge popularity these days...

Really? I respect your opinion, but did you ever listen to Guilty Pleasure? Me Without You was just so beautiful. I didn't like Headstrong though, you are right if you're talking about singing trough her nose in that era.

Miley has better voice,stage presence, she always sings live... I can't say the same thing for Hilary sorry!

I agree, she can be REALLY fake. But, this is gonna sound ridiculous, i know her. I know how she is, she's genuine, you can see that. But she's just a teenager trying to get attention. That's it.

Exactly. I actually don't hate her anymore, but she still says some things that make me want to punch her

BUT... there are still people who manage to have Platinum selling albums. Miley is one of them, that's why most people are freaking out.
I know she will end up selling good, but this low sales are sad.
