But, anyway back to the topic at hand the reason the artists' in question are flopping is because of bad single choices by their labels and taking breaks for more than 2 years IMO.

main reason ciara is in trouble is cause of jive + astring of bad signle choices this has been going on ever since the evolution era
TBH i think the TE era came way too soon because
it was kinda non commercial compared to "goodies"
that had mainstream appeal in so many of the songs
while TE kinda alienated a lot of her pop fans....

I thought The Evolution opened to doors to grab more of the pop fans. I didn't really care for Goodies much, because I try to stay away from a lot of heavy urban music. The Evolution and Fantasy Ride are a lot more "pop friendly" to me, which is why I liked them more.

No! Artists are more powerful than the public give them credit for. And, if she was 'flopping' why wouldn't the label just drop her? She isn't their most valuable?

"the evolution" was deffo way stronger in R&B and urban sound
than "goodies" and most fans will tell you that....it had songs
like "get up" and "that's right" which were pop leaning but overall
it's known for appealing mainly to her urban fanbase which is why
i said it alienated her pop fans....
FR is most pop friendly album ever though but that alienated her
urban fans so what i've been saying they should focus on is songs
that appeal to everybody and all formats and have the potential to crossover....
Let's take a look @ only Ciara for a second, this week she got that new peak of 71, jumping 78 to 71, so how can you say it stalled?

Fans from across seas they're very loyal Kelly's last album went platinum because of them...Fact is Ciara's career is over.Keri Hilson take her place and someone will soon take hers.

Stop it because this statement is embarrassing, her album is commercial no matter what you say, she will never be a non commercial artist with her costumes and her reputation. And especially with songs like "Hard" "Rude Boy" and "Stupid In Love".

UGH STOP ****ING SAYING THAT.... These girls are as commercial as it gets, people on ATRL seriously need to re-evaluate their definition of NON ****ING COMMERCIAL. The moment she made a video for her song it was commercial. The promotion and performance of the song makes it commercial there is NOTHING non commercial about any pop artist that we like.

good on radio despite what this article is trying to say
people are just looking at the FR era and judging her because that
flopped but one flop doesn't define your career because look what
happened to mariah after "glitter".....she came back bigger than ever
so you should never count somebody out especially not ciara since
"ride" can still be a big hit if it cross
and ciara has a lot of overseas fans already anyway,that's why LSM
was such a huge hit around the world more than it was in the US...
she has killed the competition with less than half the work for the past 3 years.
