Oh and I swear if The XX didn't get anything for alternative I would boycott Grammy from then.
LCD System, Muse, Kabastian, B.o.B... should get some as well.
And no places for Jason Derulo, Iyaz or nonsense talentless acts please.

I don't think so. she been getting so much hate this era i think this will be the first time she don't win a grammy for an album.
see how Kanye was getting so much hate cause of Taylor thing. his album was snubbed last year.
as much as a Grammy supposed to be about the quality of music its also a popularity contest.

I honestly hope it's gonna be Alicia's year once again. Her album is flawless and with "Un-Thinkable" gaining momentum and on course to be her biggest hit this era, I'd even say she has a chance on the RotY and SotY categories. I'd say AotY and, obviously, the R&B field, are locks for her. And then there is still the collab with Jay-Z - I don't think anyone will be able to take Recod of the Year from "Empire State Of Mind", to be honest.

Record - production, the award goes to the producer and singer
Song - lyrics, the award goes to the writers

I don't care about the grammys...
They are all about mainstream artists now a days, they'll just hand the award to the most relevant person or the most successful song out of the nominated (at least on the sub-categories like pop, r'n'b, dance, etc...)... just like the ******** we had last year....

Err, after 'Single Ladies' won SotY - when it should have won RotY - I wouldn't rule out any, I mean, ANYTHING.
Btw, I see people predicting 'The Fame Monster' for the AotY category... Are re-releases allowed to be nominated? Or are you people *finally* admiting it's another album?

Single Ladies won Song, Use Somebody won Record.
It should be the opposite.

Well, Single Ladies won SOTY last year...
Honestly, I know this song (the video actually) was a huge success, but that lyrics were REALLY stupid...

It's an EP in the US. The question is are EPs eligible for AOTY.

What's the problem with what I think?
I said the ******** was in general...
Do you think I care if Britney is going to win another Grammy or not? This won't make a difference to her career or my life...

I don't think they are stupid, but I agree, SOTY should've been Poker Face or Use Somebody.

+1
Like Taylor Swift wining Best Female Country Vocal Performance over Carrie and the other girls nominated. I like Taylor more than Carrie but I can't believe she won that
And Kelly Clarkson and Whitney Houston didn't get a nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance

The senil voters were so desperate to stay somewhat relevant they ended up confusing themselves.

I think ya'll forgot about Miranda Lambert. That girl is brilliant especially she goes Country, which is apparently the positive discrimination factor to be winning in Grammy Award.
Empire State Of Mind doesn't have rock/country vibes so at its best, it could only bring a Song Of The Year award home.
Alicia Keys was underperforming. As I Am was a huge album but still only got 1 (one) Grammy home for Superwoman. Don't mind saying she got snubbed, that's all because she's not even creative like she was before.
And Lady A. with ''Need you Now''. It has to win after all the things they got promoted by Grammy last year, seriously.
