Because these are only Beyoncé's total career sales. As you can see it doesn't include figures for Ms. Kelly & Michelle's albums.
Satellites only asked for Beyoncé's total sales!

I read the question & article. I am pointing out the appearance of TOTAL in this thread, which was QUOTED to that article. Obviously, it's just there to exaggerate it, as per usual Bey stans combining DC & Beyonce's sales. I am no way anti-Beyonce, but i'm just telling the truth.

Because in his question to Billboard he asked for a comparison in DC sales and Beyoncé solo sales, not for a combined total.
He combined them himself to show Beyoncé's total career sales. Do you disagree with adding DC as part of Beyoncé's career sales?

They're not part of Beyoncé's solo career but they are part of her career. It's like you telling me that Chili doesn't have any album sales in her career because her whole career was in TLC.

Chili is a different topic. Her fans doesn't count TLC's sales & #1s as her own, unlike Beyonce's stans. That's why its called a group/band. It should be like TLC + Chili's sales. Same as Beyonce, it should be Beyonce + DC sales.

Those sales don't belong to Beyoncé alone but they are still part of her total sales.
Beyoncé has sold 28,252,000 albums, 11,277,000 solo and 16,975,000 with Destiny's Child.
