Like no offense to La La Land, but Moonlight struck me more emotionally. It's a shame HFP is shunning this movie if that's the case.

THIS. Moonlight connected with me in a way La La Land never will. Not that the latter wasn't well made, but it's totally the "safer" of the two.
If Manchester By The Sea wins though
