I think CL's solo music has been decent.
It's the management that has failed tbh. She really should have signed to a major label because YG and Scooter is not a good combination. YG as a label has no connections in the States and Scooter seems too busy with his other artists to even bother managing CL, it's kinda tragic.
She has the talent and the right image to break through but it's not connecting because there's always something missing. Plus she keeps trying to launch, then stopping then starting again, she's running out of time or soon people really won't be interested.
I hope she finds the right song for her to make it but I'm not sure. A K-Pop act will crossover eventually though, it's only a matter of time.
