lol, what? People know him as a talented singer/songwriter. That's what he is. He's incredibly talented.

He had a large group of people at his house making music together, it's not like there was a camp assembled that he just came by after they had all been working and used their ideas. He's a songwriter through and through.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with using writing camps. They're all their to work with the artist to come up with great things. Albums are huge productions things, and it's always best to piece everything together lyrics/melodies/harmonies/beats/instrumentals together in order to make it work. Use the talents of many to come up with the best thing possible.

Rih has one assembled for her to create songs for her.
Bey has one too assembled for her, and then she will come in and check up on them, see what they've come up with and start catering it to what she wants.

Ed actually had people over to his house to write with from the beginning. No team was assembled for him without him being a part of it....he just had a group of people to collaborate with. He's a writer through and through, he's been since the beginning of his career. Tons of professional writers go on writing retreats.

Ed and Bey did the same thing. The only difference is Ed used his own house. Bey rented one.
Bey was there and she's credited. Bey has also been a songwriter since her DC days. Whether you believe it or not, you can't change facts to suit your own agenda

Exactly. Which is how most mainstream artists make their albums. The fact that his collaborators came to hang out at his house instead of him meeting him at the studio doesn't make this a writing camp.
