I read somewhere that YG ultimately decided to disband 2NE1 because he didn't want them to hinder BP's progress for being a similar style group. (no idea how much truth there is to it tho)

More like he can only delay one group at a time for so long. We'll get alot of BP up until the middle of this year and then have to wait until 2020 for another single
