Bernie should have called himself what he really is, a New Deal democrat.
It's a mix of socialist policies in regards to healthcare, education, etc but still very much runs on the free market system, just with more government regulation to protect the people.
Also he needs to not be as vocal about free college, etc. The best thing right now is to start allowing more liberal states to try it out and show people how it works. Same thing should be done with single payer healthcare as well. Do it in NY, CA, etc and show people that it can work. They're doing it with the minimum wage so hopefully if states try it out the rest of the country will want those benefits as well (though of course some dumb conservatives will be against it no matter what).
so that means picking intimate leader rendez-vous over stadiums (since the youth is already his) and please no Weaver
