Anyways, what's y'all opinion on the place of religion in a State ? Should a State ignore all religion or acknowledge them all ? Fund none, fund all ?

Why should states fund religions? I have never heard of this before actually it never happens in my country but it definitely doesn't make sense. I think that the state should monitor religions though, just as they monitor other institutions.

Because of sovereignty, when states don't fund religions, foreign states do.
How can you justify monitoring religions, if the State doesn't recognize religions ?

@lonnie. Well in majority of the countries, western ones included church and religions establishments are exempt from taxes.

even when I was a kid, I was always skeptical on how can god be a male. Isn't he supposed to be invinsible superpower? he shouldn't have any gender label when it's just a higher power, not some biological creature to have any specific sex

but then I realized that men created religions, so of course god would be a man

I don't think any state whether foreign or not should fund them as though they don't have a lot of money just as most are (churches for instance).

States already do recognise religions, but religions should be monitored and shone a light on. Look at what happened with the child abuse scandals and the lack of response from states for years. It's horrible.

Music here in Germany isn't divided by gender of sexuality so . Europeans always win.

Christians are such hypocrites. Like they all know fundamentally that women are under a fat thumb in their religion with Paul going as far as telling some church that women shouldn't be given a platform to speak. I am glad that their hypocrisy allows us to debate religion today, so they can feel "liberal" that people can cruticize their religion "unlike" others even though they hate it.

According to 2010 census, Brazil is 63% catholic, 22% protestants(16% pentecostals tho, the radical, speaking-in-tongues christians) and 8% non-religious. I guess among the non-religious, 3% are skepticals(atheist and agnostics), because Brazil is still very God-driven by what I can notice.
