Day By Day was before the scandal, Sexy Love was post and smashed. Number 9 a year later was when it showed that their commercial viability in Korea had taken a hit

Oh, ok. I wasn't in kpop until after T-ara's scandal and didn't know about them til 2013 so I always get that mixed up. Either way, yall should wait for the next couple daily charts and not focus so much on realtime charts.

Mamamoo debuted #4 and of course fell in early mornings (public not really liking the song yet, EXOBangtan army coming to mass stream ) but they never fell out of the Top 18 on Melon daily charts.

SNSD as a brand will continue to sell (at least in theory) for a while longer yet, so SM will continue to milk the machine as much as possible.

Their contracts are over in August and if there isn't a line-up change I'll be surprised.
