Yes, she made the mistake that Meghan needs a trainer and so many newbies make.

They have one hit era and then they try to do an image overhaul and a sound reinvention.

You are supposed to go at least 2 at most 3 eras to solidify your image sound and brand and then if you want to take risks so be it.

Nicole just branched out too quickly and it hurt her image wise.

Yeah the double counting is a mess but I guess it's the way of the future.

The newer artists need to double count to slightly measure up against the past.
