 | Rowan's Review I give you the honor of being the poster boy for obesity in evolutions. It's a serious issue and it matters. Its most obvious in you I feel, that GF decided they needed to make everything larger in this Gen. Why? I don't know. Did Rhydon NEED an evo, perhaps I mean yeah it helped. The sad thing is the pay off isn't that great cause you aren't that much better then it. So really we're left with a really poorly designed Pokemon. Your head reminds me of a courtroom wig. The random belt you have feels unneeded and cluttered. Overall you're so over the top in a bad way. |
 | Battle Spot Luckily you're not all that bad. I do think the Rock-typing is holding you back (Sorry Subomie) because those stats are solid! I mean that enormous attack and defense with decent HP. You have your uses and you're pretty versatile. But, that low Speed combined with those weaknesses I think don't allow you to shine to your full potential. Hopefully DPPt remakes come through for you in some way. Also, you gave Rhydon some nice usage too. So work! |

"Probably the worst cross-gen evolution for several reasons. Rhydon didn't really need an evolution and he already had a design that looked fully-evolved. Rhyperior is just so extra as an evolution and a design. There are aspects to like, such as the arms and tail, but the colour scheme, shape and especially the head all look bad."
Phresh also comes for the good sis:

I would classify riolu as a first stage rather than a baby tbh, especially since it's not connected to past pokemon like the others, but either way, Munchlax won as the highest crossgen baby
