We had a holiday party the other day, and I realized Flusher and TLC lowkey had the best songwriting of that era. It is amazing how you can put on a song like U Remind Me or Creep and still remember and sing out all the words like it just came out yesterday. Those songs are like 20 years old, and more memorable than the songs on the radio now.
ATL needs to stop with the hip hop/trap, and get back to when they were the goldmine for R&B songwriting/hits
